Well, here we are, almost all the way through September. The guys at Vishnu Blue been really busy getting the felling back
and polishing off some jams. Sadly, Larry has had to leave us, due to time conflicts. We wish him well and hope to have him
back soon. We're currently looking for some gigs so that we can get our music out there... so we can tap int the groove somewhere
and everywhere. Well, that's about it
Movin' in the right direction,

WOW, so we've practiced 2 times with both percussionists (Lee and Nick) and things are sounding really great. On Tuesday,
Adam will be back and we will start getting everything together, including some new originals and, a first for Vishnu Blue,
covers that we are actually gonna learn and practice. Well, things are looking up.
Bored as hell with classes,

Neat, another school year (ugggghh), well, that does mean one great thing though... another semester of VISHNU BLUE music.
As the semester begins, Larry is still in over seas, until Friday... but everyone else is back. Nick, our 2nd drummer in training
is busy being an R.A. in training, but that's okay. As of today, Lee, Sean, and I did the Quad day walk, handing out very
ghetto "business cards," but they seem to have done their purpose. Also, today the Vishnu Blue Family was established at an
Registered Organization at the UIUC. If you are interested in joining and/or taking over some fun stuff in the adminsitrative
area for this new group set up to help us spread the love and our music, then just email vishnu_blue@hotmail.com. Well, that's
all for now....
Ba du du du,
Jesse

Howdy again, hope all is well. If you are here, looking at this, you most likely got the email about the free MP3's (let's
hear it for Sean for keeping up our mailing list), if not, send us your email and we will add you. Anyway, I am currently
trying to find facts and money so we can upgrade to a 2000 MB website (lots of MP3's then), and to get vishnublue.com. Also,
I took all my demos off the band page and made my own personal page (click here) and take a look around. I want to get every
member a webpage, just for random stuff, like gear and stiff like that. On the musical front, Lee will be back in Urbana around
the 15th of August, then Larry will be back by the 24th. It will be all uphill from there. Book us now before we are all booked
up!!! Things are looking good, looking to be lots of fun, looking sweet.
Please someone buy me a new computer with Flash,
Jesse

Well, the majority of the band is back in Urbana, but without a drummer for the time being (Lee's exploring the East and working
in Chicago, but will be bakc in August). Soooo, we are finally in a position to get another full time drummer (as in having
2). Craziness happened and one fell in our laps, one who plays hand drums as well. So, we're testing out one Mr. Nick Osburn..
and so far so great!! We played on the Quad with our acoustics on Thursday night and had a hell of a time.. look for us there
weekly! Well, that's about it.

Hey all, we jammed our little, medium, and large sized hearts out on Saturday(29th) and recorded every note of it. In a few
weeks we'll be mastering the tracks and putting together a much higher quality cd than our little demo that me, jesse and
lee put together. Contact us if you want one, and for a small fee we'll be happy to give you a copy of it. For this recording
Larry joined in on keys and it sounds awesome! If you were here and heard it THANKS for coming out, if you weren't here...
you definately missed out, good times were had by all. Anyway, send us your love, or burning desire to have a cd at vishnu_blue@hotmail.com,
and remember, NEVER fight a basket of fruit or bucket of water while simultaneously grooving to the beat of a different drummer.
Giggidy Giggidy ALLLLRIGHT!,

May Day, neat. Well for any of you dancing around the May pole who wanted to know about Vishnu Blue, here we go. The Canopy
Club gig was awesome, see pics here. Also, we have finally found a replacment drummer for Paul, since we will be missing him
this summer and next semester (Have fun in Paris), please help me welcome Lee Fritz to the Blue. Sometime in mid-Summer we
should actually be recording a demo 6 track C.D. (which I'm sure will play longer than a normal Pop Album). That's about it,
Enjoy finals....
Here's to Beer,

April 14, 2004
Well, this week has been something for Vishnu Blue. On Monday we had our first rehersal in a while and welcomed Larry Yang
to the crew. Tonight is our first gig at the Canopy Club. We're on around 9:30, but the show starts at 7, so come and hear
awsome new music and maybe bid on an Other Guy or an Illinett(e). Unfortunatly, Adam will not be with us for this gig, just
this one though, but we will have Ben Cox back for a song or two. The set should be pretty intersting. Also, come out and
see Seven Man Awesome Team, which is made up of Sean, Larry, and I along with Dan Poken, Lee Fritz, Ben Jones, and Bill Prokopow.
This set will include "Buddy Holly" by Weezer, "Army" and "Zac and Sara" by Ben Folds, "California" by Phantom Planet, and
"Clocks" by Coldplay (along with some fun things on stage). Well, hope to see you out tonight, and keep jammin.
Here's to Band-Aids,
Jesse

Awesome Team. Just as a heads up, Sean and I are part of the one gig only "Seven Man Awesome Team," a cover band, so check
that out. Also, we're currently in a little re-organizing stage; ex. Auditioning Drummers to take Paul's vacancy this summer
and next semester and maybe trying out a new key player. The songs are comin along, and so are the jams. Well, just thought
I'd update this and let ya'll know what's up with us. Catch y'all later, and at the Canopy on April 14th.

Jan. 24th, 2004
Hey, I thought I'd update the "NEWS" page here, let's hear it for Jesse for doing all the hard work on this webpage so all
I have to do is type... WOOO YEAH ALRIGHT!!! Anyway, just thought I'd update our shows list, Febuary is looking grim, but
fear not, the band is very optimistic and there WILL be a show sometime in Febuary, we'll keep you posted. We got together
the other night for our first practice of the semester, I must say, we are sounding good, the songs that are in the works
are starting to come together nicely, they're like small symphonies in my mouth, except they're in my ears. I think that's
all the news for now, be on the look out for us because like a freight train, we're a' comin'... we're definately a' comin'...
Toot Toot,
Sean
Jan. 17th, 2004:
So, I got back from break a bit early and decided to make us a homepage. I did this, http://vishnblue.tripod.com, but apparently
I messed up and something went wrong, so where we go again. In other news, I've been busy writing a whole new group of songs,
hopefully some will be on "707 High." Also, Sean finally got his new bass, a 5-String Warwick, and he's playing it all the
time.
This semester, expect to see Vishnu Blue at:
- February: TBA
- March: Jesse's Birthday Concert (hopefully at the Cowboy Monkey)
- TBA: Allen Hall's Battle of the Bands
- TBA: VMGC fundraiser with Roy G. Biv (hopefully at the Canopy)
Well, until the rest of the guys get back on campus, that's all I got.
Here's to Music for Music,
Jesse
